Before PWNHealth, Sanjay served as President of Physicians Interactive (PIH), PIH was acquired by Merck & Co in 2013. He was formerly the co-founder of Medsite, a leading pharmaceutical marketing firm acquired by WebMD. Sanjay also co-founded software company, Oblisk, and worked at Kaiser Associates in Washington, DC and London. He serves on the Board of the Vedanta Cultural Foundation and was a recipient of the World Business Forum Entrepreneurship award.

Bill Paquin
Bill leads PWNHealth’s growth efforts. For the last 20 years, Bill has been helping healthcare companies transform their commercial models through technology. Prior to PWN, Bill was Chief Commercial Officer for Aptus Health, where he led the company’s rapid growth through its acquisition by Merck. He was also the founder and CEO of Vertical Health, a digital chronic disease management company acquired by Remedy Media and a senior executive of Medsite, acquired by WebMD. He is a member of the Health Evolution Institute inaugural class.
ALE THOME
Ale joined PWN in 2015 when the company acquired a tech-enabled genetic counseling business that he founded called Bind Health. Previously, Ale worked for 7 years at Endeavor, a New York-based organization that pioneered high-impact entrepreneurship in emerging economies. While he was there, he worked with tech companies around the world and led international expansion for the Middle East and Africa. Originally from Brazil, Ale graduated with a BS in Economics from Fundação Getúlio Vargas in São Paulo.
Doug Elwood, MD
Dr. Elwood has dedicated his career to improving education, communication, and outcomes. As a thought-leader, he has led multiple innovation efforts, consulted throughout the industry, presented at conferences worldwide, and he has dozens of publications including a featured chapter in the esteemed annual HIMSS publication on mHealth. He is on part-time faculty at NYU Langone Health.
Paldeep S. Atwal, MD, FACMG, FRCP(UK)
Dr. Paldeep Atwal is a board-certified, fellowship-trained clinical and medical biochemical geneticist. He received his medical degree from the University of Glasgow and trained in hospital internal medicine with The Royal College of Physicians at Glasgow Royal Infirmary in Scotland. Dr. Atwal went on to complete a genetics fellowship at Stanford University and a biochemical genetics fellowship at Baylor College. He is recognized as an expert in human genetics and his work has been widely published in more than 70 peer-reviewed publications.
Daniel Laroue
Daniel leads operations and finance at PWNHealth. He was an investment professional at EDG Partners, a $180 million healthcare fund, where he underwrote the PWNHealth investment and served on the Board. He started in investment banking at Raymond James, completing healthcare transactions valued at over $1 billion. He is currently a Board Member at PointRight. He graduated from Vanderbilt with a degree in economics.
Joaquin Gamboa
Prior to PWNHealth, Joaquin was Chief Business Development and Legal Officer at Spring Health, he helped lead Zocdoc for six years as Chief Legal Officer, Head of New Business and Government Affairs, and Chief People Officer, and he was a partner at a telecom and technology law firm in DC. Joaquin began his career in Silicon Valley where he ran international business development at a fintech startup, founded a venture fund, and worked as a corporate lawyer.
Kirsten Cullen
Kirsten has served in pivotal operational and client service roles within telemedicine and virtual care for nearly 20 years, helping establish, grow and transform multiple companies that provide both diagnostic testing and care interventions. Through her leadership, Kirsten consistently delivers outstanding service for clients and ultimately ensures all patient programs are exceptional.
Ann Pettey
Ann is the SVP of People for PWNHealth. In this role, she drives the company’s efforts to be a great place to work for all employees through a focus on recognizing and rewarding performance, creating opportunities for employees to develop and grow, being an inclusive workplace for our teammates, and supporting employees’ financial, physical and emotional wellness. Prior to joining PWNHealth, Ann spent 16 years at Bank of America where she served as SVP of Human Resources and held leadership roles across many lines of business within the organization.
